So leaving the Science museum, I saw this scene across Expo Park. I like how this came out, even though I did almost everything wrong. I didn’t have the right lens, or a tripod, both which would have been great for attempting a shot like this. The noise level was really high, because the ISO was set around 2600. I love my Nikon D700, cause it can take high ISO shots without showing noise, but even it can’t create miracles. I recently upgraded to Lightroom 3, and it’s noise reduction tools helped quite a bit.

So, I took a walk on Venice Beach on Friday, just a quick one. But it was the first day I was there when it was really grey and overcast, and I thought it would be interesting to shoot. Cause it was a weekday, and kinda cold, there were much fewer people around that there is on a sunny weekend. I happened upon this set up for some kind of event, and I loved all the video cameras they had set up. Security wasn’t pleased with me, but I liked the way this one came out.
